Troubleshooting & Repairs

Troubleshooting is disciplined diagnosis: read the panel, isolate the circuit, and confirm the fault before replacing parts. Most issues trace to wiring faults (opens, shorts, grounds), failing devices, or power problems.

  • Interpret common trouble, supervisory, and alarm indications.
  • Apply a divide-and-isolate method to locate circuit faults.
  • Distinguish device failures from wiring and power issues.
